9th Annual Dylan Nahorniak Memorial Baseball Tournament

This year’s baseball season is approaching fast. This Saturday May 14, 2016 come down to Cairn’s Field to the Annual Dylan Nahorniak Memorial tournament.

Come out to the park and enjoy watching 12 games that day starting at 830am and finishing at 6pm. Admission is based upon donation’s and this year we are donating our portion of the proceedings to the RedCross for the people of Fort McMurray. The other portion of the tournament proceedings is to Brooklyn Nahorniak’s trust fund, Dylan’s little sweetheart.

After the final game at 6 pm, we will be taking it under the grand stand inside for a more social setting with food & drinks to be served.

We will be selling apparel at the tournament:

$2 bandanas

$5 Tshirts

$20 Hoodies

We will also be selling food & drinks starting at 11 am. Homemade perogies are back by popular demand.

1130 am will be the opening ceremonies, with O’Canada sung by Jasmine Bernes, Dylan’s niece.

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for all your patience as we continue to sort out the field conditions. The new tournament date has been set to May 30th.

We will be setting up a volunteer meeting shortly, and have an agenda out shortly as well.

Due to the weather conditions, we will have to reschedule the tournament for a later date which has not been decided yet. As soon as we know, we will give everyone an update!

We didn’t get pictures of the exact shirts & hoody’s but here’s the logo’s for this year !

Come out and support some great causes & charities, while enjoying some good baseball, food (Auntie Mary’s famous homemade perogies) and entertainment!

End the evening under the grand stand at the Casino Night with proceeds to:

Trust Fund for Brooklyn, Prostrate Cancer & 3rd Annual Baseball Scholarship.

Hopefully everyone had a chance to grab a copy of the Saskatoon Express this week with Colleen’s (Dylan’s mom) story. She shares some really great stories of Dylan, and we are all very proud of her for gathering the strength to do that.
